The funding is to cover:

  • groups supporting the ongoing health and well-being needs of vulnerable people
  • groups and activities that support vulnerable people self-isolating
  • foodbanks and organisations working to combat hardship and child hunger
  • community response coordination
  • volunteer costs for organisations responding to the pandemic
  • additional costs of working remotely/adapting service delivery
  • additional support for emotional, mental health, and bereavement services

CCF is a registered charity that provide a source of funding for community self-help across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly all year round. They have received additional funds from Cornwall Council, the Duke of Cornwall, The National Emergencies Trust, and generous individual donors to provide emergency funding specifically to help groups and organisations who are supporting communities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

So far, they have allocated over £438,000 in emergency and crisis funding which has helped thousands of people across the duchy. They still have funding available and are looking for more groups to apply.
