Standing Orders

Parish councils are subject to the basic arrangements relating to the conduct of meetings and making decisions – Standing Orders.

Many of these arrangements are contained in the Local Government Act 1972 and in particular Schedule 12 to the 1972 Act (paragraphs 7-13 and 39-45).
