The Annual Town Meeting is a chance to meet your Councillors and get an overview of our work from the last year. This includes any issues as well as projects, activities, and initiatives that we have been supporting. You also have the chance to raise matters with the Council and ask questions.
All electors in the Parish of Penzance are encouraged to attend the meeting – this includes everyone over the age of 18 who is registered to vote and is resident in Penzance, Newlyn, Paul, Mousehole, Heamoor, or Gulval.
The town belongs to everyone and we should all have a voice in its future!
You can read the draft minutes of the last Annual Town Meeting which took place on Monday 22 April 2024.
Meeting minutes for the current year are published above in draft format within five working days of the date of the meeting or as soon as practical. The minutes of each council or committee meeting are then approved at the next meeting of the council or the relevant committee. They are freely accessible to the public (except for any confidential items).
If you require the documents on this page in a different format please contact us.
Minutes from previous municipal years, up to 2019-20, are available on the previous minutes page. If you need access to minutes from meetings earlier than those shown, these are available by request – please contact our office.
