Penzance Promenade

Penzance Promenade

The promenade is the only Victorian promenade in Cornwall and one of the ‘jewels in the crown’ for Penzance.

Promenade Refurbishments

In recent years, it has suffered considerable storm damage, but a £1.4 million scheme, completed in 2021, has made much needed improvements to the condition and resilience of the promenade.

Penzance Council contributed £65,800 to ensure that new flagpoles, benches and pebble seats were included as part of the project.

More information about the renovations can be found on Cormac’s website.

Penzance Promenade is owned and maintained by Cornwall Council, not Penzance Council.
