Rough Sleeping

If you see someone sleeping rough:

  • in the open
  • in a tent
  • in a car
  • living in a makeshift shelter in the woods
  • sleeping in farm buildings

you can help by creating an alert online: StreetLink – Connecting people sleeping rough to local services (thestreetlink.org.uk)

  • Morrab Gardens (including the war memorial)

  • Newlyn Green (including Bolitho Gardens and the Play Park)
  • Penzance Bus Station

  • Penzance Promenade (including the flagpoles)
  • Planning Applications & Enforcement
  • Road maintenance and parking
  • Recycling, rubbish and waste
  • St Anthony Gardens
  • St John’s Hall
  • Wherrytown Boating Lake

Beryl Bikes

The electric Beryl Bikes in Penzance are not operated or maintained by Penzance Council – it is a service provided by Beryl Bikes on behalf of Cornwall Council.

If you see a Beryl Bike which is broken or has been left in a place where it really shouldn’t be, please let Beryl know so they can fix it as soon as possible.

You can reach them through the in-app chat, via the chat on their website, by email or by phone. Please provide details of the bike’s location and they’ll send someone out to deal with the problem.
