*This Opportunity has now closed* Penzance Council are now accepting applications to manage the Golowan Festival for 2022-2024!
We are offering a package of financial support for a recognised CIO or CIC group to deliver the annual midsummer celebrations in Penzance starting from next summer.
As part of the contract, the successful group will need to deliver the following core elements of the festival:
- Mock Mayor elections
- Firework display on Mazey Eve
- Mazey Day Celebrations – street processions, market & craft stalls, street entertainment, open music and tradition dance, engagement with local schools; groups; and artists
- Quay Fair
