Penzance Council is a consultee for all Penzance Parish planning applications. The Planning Committee meets every three weeks to discuss new applications, these range from the redevelopment of neglected sites to home extensions.

The Committee deal with all council staffing matters and meet on an ad hoc basis when specific matters arise.

Committee meetings are held in either St Piran’s Room, Penlee Centre, Penlee Park, TR18 4HE or The Alverne Room at St John’s Hall, TR18 2QW, although they can sometimes be held at different locations across the Parish from time to time. Please check the meeting agenda for the confirmed venue.
