Penzance Support Hub – Young People Cornwall

Where: Lescudjack Centre, Penzance, TR18 3PE

When: Mondays 3:30pm – 5:30pm

Safe place for children and young people who ae feeling down and/ or struggling with their emotions. Information, advice and guidance.

Penzance Connect Club

Where: Penwith College, St Clare Street, Penzance, TR18 2SA

When: Tuesdays 5-7pm

Support for young people aged 11-19 and up to 25. Drop-in (no need to book). Any young person attending will be able to access a warm drink and light refreshments.

Every day 2-3pm – warm hub only

Pengarth Day Centre

Where: Morrab Gardens, Penzance, TR18 4DA

When: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm, Saturday 8:30am – 3:30pm, Sunday 10am – 2pm

Hot food and drinks, flask of tea or soup to take home, breakfast and afternoon tea at reasonable cost. They also offer a Meals on Wheels Service.

Discovery Church

Where: 62 Morrab Road, Penzance, TR18 4EP

When: Tuesdays 10am – 12noon / 6pm – 8pm & Wednesdays 6pm – 8pm

We cater for all people. We have a large open space with chairs & tables available. There are games etc for children. There is always tea, coffee, hot chocolate available plus on some occasions there will be home made soup.

Food Banks

Churches Together in Penzance Foodbank

The Foodbank provides a box of food containing enough food for 7 days (3 meals a day), for people in financial crisis. People can access this service on production of a voucher which has been issued by agencies such as social services, G.Ps, health workers, schools, YMCA, CAB and Job Centre Plus.
