We own and manage the beautiful Penlee Park which is a popular garden in the heart of Penzance, open to the public to enjoy all year round.
We have a range of open spaces and wooded areas to explore, with the addition of a sensory garden and a Memorial Garden for quiet contemplation.
A copy of the Penzance Borough Roll of Honour is on display in the Chapel of the Memorial Gardens.
We also have a children’s Play Park – in Autumn 2022 we completely refurbished the junior play area and have created brand new multi-use areas for children who are wheelchair users or who use other mobility aids to join in the fun!

The park is open 8:00am – Dusk, 365 days a year.
The Memorial Garden is open 8:00am – 3:45pm Monday – Thursday, and 8:00am – 3:15pm on Fridays.

Litter bins for general waste and dog waste are available throughout the park.
Dual waste and recycling bins have recently been installed throughout the park. This forms part of our ‘in house’ actions to meet the aims of our Climate Emergency Plan.
In 2023, Penlee Park was once again awarded five stars in the Pride in Parks Award by South West in Bloom!
The judges praised the park for its colourful annual planting and excellent wildflower areas for pollinators. They were also impressed with how the park is maintained to a high standard and is well used by members of the public.
