A drop-in consultation event for Gwavas Playing Field is taking place this Saturday!

Cornwall Councillor Thalia Marrington is hosting a drop in event at Gwavas Playing Field on Saturday 22 April where you can share your ideas for improvements for the Field!

What’s it all about?

Some initial funding for improvements at Gwavas Playing Field has been secured, but in order to apply for more and it’s important to hear from you – residents in Newlyn!

Where and when?

Come along to Gwavas Playing Field any time between 10am and 1pm on Saturday 22nd April to get your thoughts heard and recorded (if it is very wet, the event will be held at The Centre instead). You can also sign up for updates as things progress. There will also be activities for children and refreshments available.

Can’t make the event?

Don’t worry! – please email [email protected] and you’ll be sent a questionnaire to fill in, or one can be posted through your letterbox and you can return it to The Centre, Newlyn.

Please note: Gwavas Playing Field is owned and operated by Cornwall Council (not Penzance Council) and Cllr Marrington is hosting this event in her capacity as a Cornwall Councillor.
