Part of the 16 Days of Activism campaign against gender-based violence
Monday 6th December from 5:15pm
West Cornwall Women’s Aid, Whole Again Communities, and The Big Dance Company have organised a ‘Take Back the Night’ walk and vigil in Penzance.
5:15pm – Meet at Wherrytown Skatepark
5:30pm – Walk along the prom and up Chapel Street for a vigil in the courtyard of the Methodist Chapel
There will be a performance by the Big Dance Company and Lizzie Matthews-CEO of West Cornwall Women’s Aid will be leading a tribute to victims of gender-based violence.
The WAC Project and Growing Links will be there to keep everyone warm, with their home made soup, hot drinks and snacks.
Please dress warmly and bring a torch or lantern.
