We can now confirm that a by-election for the casual vacancy in Penzance East Ward will be held in the New Year.
The Returning Officer at Cornwall Council has confirmed that they have received the minimum number of requests from residents in the Penzance East Ward for an election to be held.
Cornwall Council manages all Town and Parish Council elections in the Duchy and arrangements will now be made for a by-election in the New Year – as they become available, more details will be available on Cornwall Council’s Town and Parish Council Vacancies page.
