Important news for residents of Heamoor and Gulval from Cornwall Council regarding the switching off/dimming of street lights.

As the next phase of Cornwall Council’s green initiative to cut carbon emissions by turning off or dimming streetlights rolls out, Penzance Council have been informed of planned switch-offs of streetlighting (midnight to 5am) in the week beginning 19 August in the following areas:

  • Heamoor
  • Gulval
  • Delabole
  • Madron
  • Trematon
  • Pentewan
  • Trethowel
  • Halsetown
  • Porthtowan
  • Trewoon
  • St Teath
  • Troon
  • Lanivet
  • Tintagel (Parish)
  • Wendron
