Completed nomination papers must be submitted by Wednesday 2 April
To become nominated as a candidate at the upcoming Local Elections, you need to submit a completed set of nomination papers by hand to specified locations (see below) by Wednesday 2nd April 2025.
This deadline is set out in law and cannot be changed for any reason.
There are three nomination papers that you must submit to make your nomination valid:
- Nomination form
- Home address form
- Candidate’s consent to nomination
Nomination packs for the four wards in Penzance parish are available from the Penzance Council offices at Penzance Council, Penlee Centre, Penlee Park, Penzance TR18 4HE Tel. 01736 363405.

Completed nomination papers must be delivered in person / by hand to:
| Cornwall Council, Mayor’s Parlour, St Johns Hall, Penzance, TR18 2QR Between 9am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm (Saturdays 9am – 1pm only). Weeks commencing 17th March / 24th March / 31st March (Monday, Tuesday) |
