Mayor of Penzance Launches Christmas Card Competition for 2020

The Mayor of Penzance has officially launched her 2020 Christmas Card Competition for Yr 5 and 6s! This year’s theme is: I’m dreaming of a Cornish Christmas!

So what’s involved?The competition is open to all Year 5 & 6 children who attend school in Penzance, Newlyn, Mousehole, Heamoor, and Gulval.

  • Draw/paint a Cornish Christmas design on paper or card
  • Write a short paragraph to explain the inspiration behind the design

One winner will be chosen from each school – each winner will receive a fully stocked art box and their design will be produced as our Christmas cards for 2020 with their first name, year group, and school on the reverse.

Closing date

Lunchtime – Friday 20th November 2020.
