Penlee House wants to hear your views!

4th June 2021 in Penlee House

Penzance Council has commissioned some independent research for Penlee House and want to hear from you.

Earlier this year, Activist Group were contracted to conduct an independent review of Penlee House & Museum to help Penzance Council, who own and operate Penlee House, make informed decisions about the future direction of the gallery.

A public consultation is now underway to understand what people want from Penlee House and to help inform the next steps in the review process.

An online survey has been created to gather the views, ideas and aspirations of Penlee House’s visitors and local residents in Penzance, Newlyn, Mousehole, Paul, Heamoor, and Gulval.

“We want to understand what people expect and would like to see from Penlee House moving forwards” said Anna Renton, Director of Penlee.

She added “the survey will help Activist Group understand the public benefit of Penlee House in our local community. It will also help us to find innovative ways to engage new audiences, especially local people who either don’t usually or have never visited us.”

An online survey hsa been created to gather the views, ideas and aspirations of Penlee House’s visitors and local residents in Penzance, Newlyn, Mousehole, Paul, Heamoor, Gulval, and Eastern Green.

The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. If you are happy to spend more time giving some more detailed feedback, there’s space for you to do that at the end of the survey.

The survey will be open until 7 July 2021.

Activist Group will be analysing the survey responses on behalf of Penlee House. Read Activist Group’s Privacy Policy here.
