Bike shelter panels removed in Penzance

Published: 1st September 2023 in category: Local News, Penzance

Penzance Council have been made aware that all the bike shelters in the town have had all of their panels removed – Penzance Council did not carry out this work.

We have been informed by Cornwall Council and Cormac that the work has been carried out in the interests of public safety due to damage caused by anti-social behaviour.

Penzance Council maintains the cycle shelter at the top of Wellfields Car Park and we have requested that these panels are returned as soon as possible as they were undamaged and their ongoing maintenance and replacement was funded by Penzance Council.
