Are you interested in helping to shape planning policy in the area where you live?

What’s it all about?

A Neighbourhood Priorities Statement is a document produced by a local council, working with its community, to set out local priorities for growth, change and investment in their area over the longer term.

Penzance Council is creating a Neighbourhood Priorities Statement Steering Group to create this document and is looking for community reps from each of the seven communities in the Penzance parish (listed below) to shape planning policy for the area in the years to come.

  • Eastern Green
  • Gulval
  • Heamoor
  • Mousehole
  • Newlyn
  • Paul
  • Penzance Town

How do I get involved?

If you are interested, please apply in writing to [email protected], or by post to Penzance Council, Penlee Centre, Penlee Park, Penzance, TR18 4HE, stating any relevant experience you have, the area of Penzance parish in which you live, and why you want to be involved.

Deadline to apply: Monday 17 August 2026
