We can now confirm that a by-election for the casual vacancy in Penzance East Ward will be held next month
The Proper Officer at Cornwall Council has received letters calling for a by-election from at least 10 residents in the ward, so a by-election will be held to fill this vacancy.
Cornwall Council manages all Town and Parish Council elections in the Duchy and arrangements will now be made for the by-election which will be held on Thursday 24 October 2024.
