At our Full Council meeting last week, Councillors voted to award £10,000 in grant funding to: Newlyn Regeneration CIC Ltd.
How will the funding be used?
Our funding will enable them to carry out a survey and cost estimate options for a Newlyn Coombe Car Park subject to the land owner, Cornwall Council, agreeing to allow a feasibility study.
It was also agreed that if a car park is created and operated by Cornwall Council on the site in the future, a request be made to said Council that the funds associated with the initial survey be returned to Penzance Council.
