Have your say on new proposed Disabled Parking Bays as part of the Healthy Streets Penzance Scheme
What’s being proposed?
Cormac Solutions Ltd on behalf of Cornwall Council is inviting comments on a proposal to introduce new disabled parking bays and a loading bay in Penzance.
Following the decision to make the Pedestrian and Cycle zone experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO) on Market Jew Street permanent, further mitigation measures are being put into place for visitors to the town with limited mobility. A number of locations have been identified where additional disabled parking bays could be located in order to improve access into Market Jew Street.
New disabled parking bays are being proposed on the following streets:
- Market Jew Street (lower section between Station Road and Albert Street)
- Albert Street
- Jennings Street
- Market Place
- Princes Street
- Clarence Street
- Morrab Road
In addition, a new loading bay is also being proposed on Clarence Street.
