Published: 22nd December 2020 in category: Council News, Heamoor

We would like to thank the 296 residents in Heamoor who responded to our Heamoor Field survey back in September 2020.

The survey was carried out between 11th and 30th September 2020 to find out what residents in Heamoor wanted for the future of the field on Madron Road.

We had 296 responses in total which represents 24.6% of the households in Heamoor ward.

The most asked-for improvements to the field on Madron Road were:

  • Improved access to the field (including gated entrance)
  • Improved accessibility for people with mobility issues by including a path across or around the field
  • Benches
  • Play/Outdoor gym equipment
  • More planting to encourage wildlife

Next steps:

  • Costings for the improvement works will now begin
  • Council budgets will be discussed and allocated in January 2021 – members of the public are welcome to join all meetings and speak at the beginning (for more details visit our Meetings page)
  • If funding is approved by Full Council in January 2021, we will make an announcement to explain the next stage of the process.

If you would like further details please contact us.
