Use BUZZPAY! electronic online payments to pay for parking with a smart phone
Visitors to Wellfields Car Park next to Penlee Park can pay for an all day parking ticket using a smart phone. There is an additional 25p BUZZPAY! admin fee on top of the standard all day parking charge of £2.50.
No app is needed for electronic online payments, simply scan the QR code from the signage at payment machines, or navigate directly to m.buzzpay.co.uk
Step-by-step guide to online payment at Wellfields Car Park
Scan the QR code from the signage at payment machines.
To do this, open mobile phone camera app and hold device so QR code appears in the viewfinder. The phone will recognise the QR code and display a website URL. Click link to open BUZZPAY! website.
IF QR CODE DOES NOT WORK, OPEN BROWSER AND NAVIGATE DIRECTLY TO m.buzzpay.co.uk
Select Wellfields Car Park (if not already selected), enter car registration and then click NEXT.
Select ALL DAY and enter email.
NOTE: Start Time is entered automatically when you click NEXT.
Click PAY.
Choose your Payment Method.
Enter Payment Details and Pay.
Payment by cash
The charge for all day parking is £2.50, and our payment machines only take the correct change (10 pence and up). We have two ticket machines: one is located at the entrance of the car park and the other on the lower level outside Penzance Tennis Club.
Parking charges apply Monday to Saturday (inclusive) to all vehicles (including motorcycles).
Parking is free from 16:00 – 09:00 Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday.
You can purchase a ticket for the day before 9am (you can only buy a ticket on the day of use).

Apart from the 25p BUZZPAY! admin fee, all income from the car park is used to maintain the gardens and buildings within Penlee Park as well as the car park itself.
Please note: users of our car park do so at their own risk. We cannot accept liability for any accidents, damage or loss to vehicles or other property.
Enforcement at Wellfields Car Park is carried out by Cornwall Council so please ensure you have purchased a parking ticket.
Other car parks in Penzance
Penzance Council only own and operate Wellfields Car Park. The majority of other car parks within the Parish are owned and operated by Cornwall Council – Cornwall Council Penzance car parks information.
There are also some privately owned and operated car parks in Newlyn and Mousehole – please check their information boards for details on parking charges.
