Penlee House to close due to Covid-19.

Under delegated powers, (page 26 in our standing orders) I, the Chairman of the Penlee House Committee and the Town Clerk have taken the difficult decision to close Penlee House and The Orangery Café from 18 March until 1 May.

This is to ensure the safety of visitors, volunteers and staff during the Coronavirus outbreak.

This is following advice from the Cornwall Museums Partnership and with the full agreement of the Director of Penlee House.
