Public Vote
For the first time in the Awards’ history, the winners will be chosen by you – the public!
“Penzance is full to the brim with people who are keen to contribute to the community. So, it’s always difficult to select who should receive the Spiegelhalter Awards. Therefore, I’m excited that – for the first time – we’re asking the public for their help in the selection process.” said Cllr Jonathan How, Mayor of Penzance.
If you are planning to nominate someone, you must first obtain their consent to be included in our online poll (for under 18s, a parent/carer must also provide consent) – details can be found on the nomination form and awards criteria.
Awards Ceremony
Once chosen, the winners will be invited to the Annual Town Council on Tuesday 10 May at St John’s Hall, Penzance and will be presented with their Awards by the Mayor of Penzance.
The winners will also be invited to the Mayor’s Reception at The Queen’s Hotel.
