Superheroes of Health & Social Care – CHAOS Bus Tour

The CHAOS Group based at Tregolls Road in comprises six partners, working hard to support everyone in the community. They span a range of industries including health and social care, agriculture, hair and beauty and online broadcasting!

The current recruitment crisis in Health and Social care has been greatly noticed and the stress and worry is shared throughout the whole sector.

On Thursday 28th October and Friday 29th October CHAOS is going on tour!! Over 2 days, they will be visiting the following locations:

Thursday 28th October

9.40am (2 hours) – St Austell – Burtons Fore Street

12.30pm (2 hours) – Truro – Lemon Quay

3.10pm (2 hours) – Falmouth – The Moor

Friday 29th October

9.40am – (2 hours) – Penzance – Top of marketplace

12.15pm – (2 hours) – Helston – Boating Lake

2.45pm – (2 hours) – Redruth – Top of Fore Street

They will have a double decker bus full of the following Health and social care providers and employment projects (dressed as superheroes of course):

  • Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust
  • Bluebird Care
  • Corcare
  • Proud to care
  • Trelawney care
  • Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
  • Anson care
  • Penhellis……. And many more

Employment projects:

  • Positive People
  • WDW
  • Compass
  • Motiv8

They will all be working together to get out there in our local communities to talk to people about the sector, the opportunities available, bust any myths and answer any questions people may have.

They will have lots of activities for children including The Creature Feature show. They are hoping that by bringing some positive attention to the sector and getting out there talking to people we will be able to inspire people to work in the sector and improve recruitment for all.
