*UPDATE* – Friday 21st June

South West Water are still working on fixing the water supply at Wherrytown, so the public toilets will remain closed today (21st June) and the water fountain is also out of action.

This is not part of our planned maintenance and is completely out of our control. We know this is frustrating and apologise for the inconvenience caused.

We will be pushing South West Water for an update later today on whether we will be able to open the toilets over the weekend. Thank you for your patience.

The Wherrytown Public Toilets will be closed for the rest of today (19th June) and probably tomorrow. This is because there is currently no water at the site due to South West Water doing an emergency repair on the same water line. The water fountain is also temporarily out of action.

We know this is very frustrating for people using the prom and the skatepark and we apologise for the inconvenience. South West Water are working for fix the problem as quickly as they can and we will let you know as soon as the toilets can re-open!

Thank you for your patience.

The nearest public toilets can be found at Alexandra Play Park and there are free community toilets that you can access at The Lugger Inn and the Newlyn Art Gallery.
