We are proud to support the White Ribbon UK campaign – to end violence against women and girls.
What is White Ribbon Day?
White Ribbon Day is a widely recognised global movement; in the UK, it is spearheaded by White Ribbon UK, the leading charity engaging men and boys to end violence against women and girls.
White Ribbon Day is 25th November – today!
Supporter Organisation
Penzance Council unanimously voted last November to become a White Ribbon Supporter Organisation to raise awareness and end violence against women and girls.
Our actions so far:
✅ signed up to become a Supporter Organisation
✅ made White Ribbon Day part of the Civic Calendar
✅ encouraged all Councillors and staff to take the pledge
