Lots has changed at the park since refurbishment works started back in July
As part of Phase Two of Devolution from Cornwall Council, Penzance Council are taking on the management of Alexandra Playpark and the Tennis Courts located on Alexandra Road this year.
Both the playpark and Tennis Courts are well used by residents and visitors but were in great need of refurbishment.
After a formal tender process, which took place earlier this year, Councillors voted to award the works contract to D A Giles at an Extraordinary Full Council meeting held on Friday 18 June 2021.
