Treveth announces community update presentation on regeneration plans for Coinagehall Street and St Anthony Gardens, Penzance

Treveth's Coinaghall Street & St Anthony Gardens Community Update Presentation

What’s it all about?

Treveth is inviting the local community in Penzance to a community update presentation to hear more about its revised plans for the regeneration of Coinagehall Street and St Anthony Gardens.

Since its draft plans for the proposed scheme at Coinagehall Street and St Anthony Gardens were considered at a Penzance Council Planning Committee meeting last December, Treveth and its design team has been working with local key stakeholders to refine its plans, taking into consideration all the feedback that has been received from both the public and Penzance Council.

Treveth is now inviting the local community to a public update presentation event, where Treveth and its architects will showcase the amendments that have been made to the proposed scheme, prior to submission to the planning department.

Treveth’s Coinagehall Street project will include the regeneration of St Anthony Gardens, funded by the Future High Streets Fund as part of the Government’s Towns Fund initiative. In its most recent plans, Treveth’s regeneration includes the retention and refurbishments of key historical features, including the existing fountain and arch way and and increased net bio-diversity by 180%.

Treveth acquired the site at Coinagehall Street from Cornwall Council under a Subject to Planning Contract in late 2022.

Where and when is the meeting?

The update presentation will be held on Thursday 7th March 2024 from 6 to 8pm at St John’s Hall, Penzance (booking is not required).

During the interactive event, members of the local Penzance community will have the opportunity to ask questions of the team and some of the town’s key stakeholders directly.
